DATABANK provides a central location for the collection and analysis of hospital utilization and financial data and serves as a useful resource to hospitals and their associations across the country. DATABANK is a secure, on-line data service that is offered to member hospitals. Since 1985, DATABANK has not only served the Colorado membership, but also many other state hospital associations around the country.
   
   

2. Data is collected through DATABANK every month to provide a timely snapshot of important information about the hospital discharges and patient days by payer category and levels of service, outpatient visits and financial data.
   
   

3. Access to this real-time data is a powerful tool as an advocate for hospitals at both the state and federal levels. Hospital executives find this data useful for benchmarking purposes among hospital peer groups and to help inform their boards of current trends and issues facing the hospital.
   
   

4. Grant access and manage hospital users from your desktop. Levels of access are also available within each hospital; users that only need access to the reports can be shown only those links and not the data entry links, providing additional security that the hospital data is entered by the appropriate employees.
